Osprey Adventures specializes in day and multi-day fishing and endurance canoe trips and expeditions into the BWCA wilderness. Our Lady Bug Lodge base facility on Shagawa Lake 7.5 miles from Ely, Minnesota also offers nightly and multi-nightly comfortable accommodations at the edge of the canoe area for those wishing to return to civilization in the evening.

Ultra-light Kevlar Canoes are best for endurance canoe expeditions or longer canoe exploring trips. These canoes average 35" wide and have two seats and a carrying yoke.

Standard Canoes are best for shorter trips and base camping, or a lower budget on longer trips. 2-3 seats, most have carrying yoke.

Fishing Canoes Wider is Better™ .......................... $25/day
Our specialized fishing canoes are designed for guests wishing to fish more than explore. These canoes are 40" wide, 16' long, feature a flat bottom and chines on the sides for added initial stability, and a keel for crisp tracking. Built-in oarlocks, and a center seat make these canoes a fishing machine. Row-Troll with precision and confidence. These canoes are best for lakes one portage in, or when towboats will drop you off on the edge of no-motor zones (electric motors are not allowed in these zones).
