Our third and fourth generation fishing/canoe guides grew up in the BWCA. Hire Osprey Adventures for your canoe and remote fishing trip and we'll help you and your family get started on the right foot.

All Ladybug Lodge guests are shown fishing spots on Shagawa Lake for free.

One-day Guide Service

Guided Full-Day Fishing Trips in the BWCA by rowing canoe. Your guide will maneuver a wide-bellied rowing canoe on a remote lake. Some require a portage walk in, some are accessible without portage. Guests may help paddle in and out if they desire.

Guided Full-Day Fishing Trip through Prairie Portage on Basswood Lake. Guide will maneuver a 16' classic fishing boat and 25 HP outboard motor. (If we use portage wheels to Pipestone Bay on Basswood Lake we use 14' boats and limit two guests per boat.) Limited due to permit availability.

On the Edge Lakes - Day fishing trips in the Ely area by fishing boat or pontoon boat.

On the Edge Lakes - Kids' panfish outing.
Available June 15 through Aug. 25. Our guides will take children and parents fishing for bluegill, crappie, bass, rouge walleye, northern pike, and trout.
Three Hours ...................................... $79/boat

Save 5% on guided day fishing trips if you catch and release fish. Save enough fish for a meal or release all. The MN Department of Natural Resources manages fish. This is our voluntary option. All rules and regulations must be followed.
*** Last year over 50% of the fish caught on our guided trips were immediately released after photo.
